Stema Regală a României este un simbol oficial al monarhiei române și a fost folosită în diverse forme de-a lungul istoriei. Ultima versiune oficială a stemei regale a fost adoptată în 2016, sub domnia Regelui Mihai I al României. Este important de menționat că, odată cu abolirea monarhiei în 1947 și instaurarea regimului comunist, stema regală a fost interzisă și înlocuită cu alte simboluri.

Descrierea stemei regale a României adoptată în 2016 este următoarea:

1. Scutul Heraldic:
   • Scutul este împărțit în patru câmpuri, reprezentând istoria și regiunile istorice ale României.
   • În partea stângă sus, se găsește stema Moldovei, cu capul de bour stilizat.
   • În partea dreaptă sus, se află stema Munteniei, cu vulturul cu două capete stilizat.
   • În partea stângă jos, este reprezentată stema Transilvaniei, cu coroana de oțel stilizată.
   • În partea dreaptă jos, se găsește stema Olteniei, reprezentată prin doi lei stilizați.
2. Schild:
   • În mijlocul scutului se află un scut mai mic (schild) cu capul de bour stilizat, simbolizând Muntenia.
3. Semne Exterioare ale Casei Regale a României:
   • Deasupra scutului, se află o coroană regală deschisă, simbolizând monarhia.
   • Dedesubtul scutului, sunt plasate ramuri de laur și de stejar, simboluri tradiționale ale victoriei și forței.
4. Deviza:
   • Dedesubtul scutului, pe o banderolă, se află deviza „Nihil Sine Deo” („Nimic fără Dumnezeu”).

Această stemă regală a fost adoptată pentru a reflecta istoria și tradițiile României, încorporând elemente heraldice specifice regiunilor istorice și ale Casei Regale. Este important de menționat că utilizarea acestei steme este asociată cu monarhia și nu a fost recunoscută oficial în perioada post-comunistă până la adoptarea ei oficială în 2016.

The coat of Arms of Romania is the official symbol of the Romanian monarchy and it was used in diverse forms over the history. The last version of the official coat of arms was adapted in 2016 under the reign of King Mihai I of Romania. It’s important to mention that, once with the abolishment of the monarchy in 1947 and the establishment of the communist regime, the royal coat of arms was banned and replaced with other symbols.

The description of the coat of arms of Romania adapted in 2016 was:

1. Heraldic’s shield.

The shield represented history and the historical regimes of Romania.

In the upper left, it’s found the coats of arms of Moldova, with a bull’s head

In the upper right, it’s found the coat of arms of Muntenia, with the two-headed-vulture.

In the bottom left, it’s represented the coat of arms of Transylvania, with the steel crown.

In the bottom right, it’s found the coat of arms of Olten, represented with two lions.

2. Schild.

In the middle of the shield, it’s a smaller shield (Schild) with a boar’s head, symbolizing Muntenia.

3. Exterior signs of the Royal House of Romania.

Above the shield, it’s found an opened royal crown, symbolizing the monarchy.

Below the shield, there are placed laurel and oak branches, traditional symbols of victory and strength.

4. Motto

Below the shield, on a banderole, is the motto “Nihil Sine Deo” (“Nothing without God”).

This royal coat of arms was adapted to reflect the history and tradition of Romania, incorporating heraldic elements specific to the historical regions and the Royal House. It is important to mention that the usage of this coat of arms was associated with monarchy and it wasn’t officially recognized in the post- communist period until the official adaption of it in 2016.
